A. Nature of the Service
Mikilyuto provides software tools designed to assist small businesses in automating certain repetitive bookkeeping tasks, including invoice categorisation, expense tracking, and bank reconciliation. The Service is provided for informational and operational assistance purposes only. Nothing within the Service constitutes financial advice, tax advice, accounting advice, legal advice, or any form of professional advisory service. Users are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of automated outputs and for ensuring compliance with all applicable tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. Mikilyuto does not act as an accountant, bookkeeper, tax agent, or financial adviser in relation to any user. The use of the Service does not create a professional advisory relationship of any kind.
B. Eligibility and Account Access
The Service is intended for use by businesses and individuals acting in a business capacity. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age, that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements, and that your use of the Service will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. Where you use the Service on behalf of a business entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms. Mikilyuto reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service where it believes these representations are incorrect or where use of the Service is inconsistent with these Terms.
C. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not: use the Service to process data that you do not have the right to process; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or to systems connected to it; use the Service to transmit any material that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party; interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; use automated tools to scrape, copy, or extract data from the Service without our express written permission; or represent the automated outputs of the Service as the product of professional accounting or tax advice.
D. Intellectual Property
All content on the Mikilyuto website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of Mikilyuto or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws applicable in the United Kingdom and internationally. Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to us regarding the Service may be used by us without obligation to you.
E. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mikilyuto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption. Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Mikilyuto in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
F. Third-Party Services and Integrations
The Service may connect to or integrate with third-party services, including banking providers, accounting software platforms, and data providers. These integrations are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement of any third-party service. Mikilyuto has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the content, practices, or availability of third-party services. Your use of any third-party service connected to Mikilyuto is subject to the terms and conditions of that third-party service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to connect your third-party accounts to the Service.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice, and we shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation. We may also update these Terms of Use from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
